Campaign Overview: A Resounding Success

 

This year’s Pinktober campaign was nothing short of a resounding success, and we owe it all to the generosity of our incredible community and the powerful partnerships we built along the way. Our primary focus was raising both awareness and funds for the Pink Drive Foundation, a charity devoted to breast cancer awareness, prevention, and support. By tapping into the creative spirit of the Cricut community, we achieved participation and donations at every level, ultimately raising a total of R36,905.

1. Cricut’s Initial Donation: R17,500


To kickstart the campaign, Cricut generously donated R17,500, which set the stage for what would become a truly powerful initiative. This initial contribution laid the foundation upon which all other efforts were built, acting as the springboard for the Pinktober campaign’s success.

2. Direct Donations: R3,730


Thanks to the remarkable support of our community, we raised R3,730 through direct individual contributions. Every donation, big or small, brought us closer to our goal. These acts of generosity were not only impactful but also deeply inspiring.

3. Raffle Support: R9,550 Raised from 191 Tickets


The raffle of the giant Cutie and Maker 3 was another highlight of the campaign. With the enthusiasm and support of our community, we sold 191 tickets, raising an impressive R9,550. The live draw, held at 14:30 on November 7, 2024, added a layer of excitement and engagement to the campaign. Congratulations to our raffle winner, Sharon Rampton, a dedicated Cricut community member. The funds raised from this raffle played a crucial role in pushing our total even higher.

4. #CricutPinktoberMeta Projects: R6,125 Donated


Another major contribution came from the #CricutPinktoberMeta campaign, where we encouraged community members to create and share 350 unique pink projects. For each project shared, Cricut pledged a donation, ultimately raising an additional R6,125 for the Pink Drive Foundation. This initiative was a beautiful testament to the creativity and commitment of our Cricut community.

Total Funds Raised: R36,905

Thanks to the collective efforts of direct donations, Cricut’s initial contribution, raffle proceeds, and the #CricutPinktoberMeta project participation, we raised a grand total of R36,905 for the Pink Drive Foundation.
